Senior Production Manager

My client, a leading childrenswear company, is seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee global production operations and support a high-performing production team. Reporting to the VP of Production & Sourcing, this role is responsible for managing production across multiple factories, ensuring product quality, on-time delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of Colorists, Technical Designers, and Production Assistants. Oversee production of approximately 10,000 SKUs annually across multiple factories. Develop and maintain production timelines to ensure on-time delivery. Resolve production issues, shortages, and delivery delays. Negotiate pricing and collaborate with sourcing teams to optimize factory allocation. Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance requirements are up to date. Partner with Design teams to manage cost implications of product changes. Work closely with overseas QC teams to monitor factory performance and product quality. Manage and track Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports. Qualifications 8+ years of apparel production experience, preferably in children’s wear. Prior experience managing production teams and vendor relationships. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
