Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using a combination of standardized assessments and hands-on observational techniques.
• Craft tailor-made treatment plans aimed at achieving short-term objectives while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy that focuses on enhancing communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive strategies for patient care.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families, equipping them with knowledge to support progress outside clinic sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a continuous care experience throughout the recovery process.
• Maintain precise documentation that meets both organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for non-certified individuals.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is mandatory.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
