Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for outpatients in a clinic/hospital outpatient setting, following the nursing process and established standards.
- Collect relevant health data, analyze assessments, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures, and assist physicians with minor procedures.
- Monitor patient status, promote safety, evaluate progress toward outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
- Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care across transitions.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, document care in the electronic health record (EPIC), and adhere to infection control and vaccination requirements.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- BSN preferred
- 2-3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- CPR/BLS certification required; ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification required
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification or active membership required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic/hospital setting with rotating day shifts; no on-call duties
