Housekeeping Attendant

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to work with our Housekeeping Team $20-$25 hourly DOE. A pristine environment is the backbone of a great guestexperience! You will prepare and keep guestquarters tidy and to a standard of upscale hospitality. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE

A housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and otherareas of the hotel are kept clean every day while ensuring housekeepingdepartmental standards are followed. Cleaning includes, but is notlimited to, making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuumingcarpets, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletriesprovided by the hotel are placed at appropriate areas. Consistentlyoffers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs cleaning duties in allguest areas and back of house. Use of Maid Cart when cleaningrooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessary supplies. Emptying garbage, removing linensand towel. Remaking bed with fresh linens andrestocking room with towels, amenities, etc. Reports necessary maintenanceissues to Front Office so a work order is made. Follows departmental policies andprocedures. Follows all safety and sanitationpolicies. Assist other departments whenneeded to ensure optimum service to guests.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Operating Housekeeping equipmentsuch as vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc. Ability to lift 30lbs or more on aregular basis. Ability and willingness to adhereto all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnelcompliance. Must maintain a positive influencein the community and positive relations with area vendors. SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS

The Housekeeping Attendant position is expected to normallykeep a 5 day a week schedule, 40 hours per week can be expected, however it canbe more or less depending on the business needs of the hotel. Ability to work weekend, events, and holidays as needed.
