Great hotel experiences begin long before guests arrive - and our Sales team helps bring every stay, meeting, and event to life. As the Hotel Sales Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day activities of the Sales team while helping create a seamless experience for clients and guests.


This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys balancing organization, communication, client service, and administrative coordination. You'll assist with proposals, contracts, group bookings, site visits, reporting, and client communication while partnering closely with hotel teams to ensure every detail is handled with care.

What you'll be doing

• Support the Sales team with day-to-day administrative activities, client communication, group bookings, meetings, and special events.
  
  

• Prepare and distribute proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, resumes, reports, presentations, and other sales-related documents.
  
  

• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, providing information about guest rooms, meeting spaces, catering options, and hotel services.
  
  

• Maintain accurate client, account, booking, and activity information within the hotel's sales and property management systems.
  
  

• Coordinate site visits, client appointments, sales meetings, familiarization tours, and special events.
  
  

• Partner with Front Office, Revenue Management, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Operations teams to support seamless group and event experiences.
  
  

• Assist with prospecting, lead research, account development, follow-up activities, and other initiatives that help generate revenue and grow client relationships.
  
  

• Track room blocks, meeting requirements, deadlines, deposits, contracts, and other important booking details.
  
  

• Support group arrivals by preparing welcome materials, coordinating amenities, and communicating key information across hotel departments.
  
  

• Maintain organized sales files, calendars, reports, databases, and departmental communication records.
  
  

• Help foster a collaborative, welcoming, and client-focused culture aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
  
  

• Any other duties as assigned.
  
  

What great looks like

• Previous hotel, sales, events, administrative, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
  
  

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm, professional, and service-focused approach.
  
  

• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, guests, and colleagues across the hotel.
  
  

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a fast-paced Sales and Operations team.
  
  

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  
  

• Experience using hotel sales, catering, CRM, or property management systems preferred.
  
  

• Ability to handle confidential information and time-sensitive client requests with professionalism and discretion.
  
  

• Flexible availability to support occasional client events, site visits, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  

• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, sales, and creating memorable client and guest experiences.
  
  

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Pay ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills, and job specific experience/overall experience.
