Shipping Clerk II

This position is based in a warehouse environment, so the worker must be comfortable with that setting. While the role involves sitting in an office within the Shipping and Receiving area, it also includes moving radios and entering data.

Skills required:

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Outlook preferred
• Duties include:
• Data entry
• Ticket creation
• Receiving and shipping
• Answering calls
• Generating reports
• Strong PC skills required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and maintain a professional demeanor
• Must be able to pass a Client Background Investigation
• Experience requirements:
• 2+ years' experience
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving clerk duties:
• Keeping records
• Preparing shipments
• Accepting deliveries
• Basic math skills, inventory handling, and organizational skills
• Physical & safety requirements:
• Forklift use may be required (will be specified if needed)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel-toed boots required

Degree requirement: High school or higher

Must-have qualifications:

• Previous experience with FedEx shipper
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with email and Excel
