Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse is looking for an experienced and service-minded Pastry Cook.
The Pastry Cook will perform highly diversified tasks and will be responsible for pastry and bread production on their assigned shift for 2 restaurants, Room service and the Banquet facilities. S/He will assist in creating delicious memorable deserts for our hotel guests.
- Qualified candidate will manage the production of pastries to include tarts, cakes, cookies, etc.
- Will work with the culinary team in the heart of the house in ensuring quality pastries are prepared in a timely fashion; service is seamless; and efficiency of the operation is executed. At times, you may be required to work autonomously and will be responsible for the management of your workstation.
- Will collaborate with kitchen leaders, Banquet managers and servers to service the pastry needs of the guests.
- Be empowered to lead pastry operations and address feedback from guests, and Food service colleagues.
