Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a MICU RN to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

**Required Licensure:** - Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.) **Required Certifications:** - BLS and ACLS from AHA only - NIHSS **Preferred Certifications:** - TNCC **Years of Experience:** - 3 years Cardiac and/or Medical ICU, CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - Experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest) **Skills:** - Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for patient post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities - Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care - Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers - Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments - Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information **Physical Requirements:** - Stand and walk most of the time on duty - Meet unit-specific physical demands - Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance - Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally **Working Conditions:** - May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements - High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids **Additional Requirements:** - Flu Vaccination/Mercy Approved Exemption is required from November 1-April 1 - Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week for orientation
