Packaging Associate - 2nd Shift

Job Summary We are hiring a Packaging Associate - 2nd Shift for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Erlanger, KY. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious candidate who enjoys hands‑on production work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. As a Packaging Associate, you will help keep packaging operations running smoothly by assembling corrugated boxes, checking quality, supplying packaging lines, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. This is a stable second‑shift opportunity with a team‑oriented environment, clear expectations, and supportive leadership focused on safety, quality, and consistent performance. Key Responsibilities Assemble corrugated boxes according to production and packaging requirements. Inspect boxes for quality, labeling accuracy, and structural integrity. Supply completed boxes to packaging lines efficiently to support production flow. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following Good Manufacturing Practices. Follow safety, quality, hygiene, food safety, PPE, and dress code requirements. Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or safety issues to supervision. Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Job Type: Temp‑to‑hire. Location: Erlanger, KY 41018. Required Qualifications and Skills Assemble and inspect corrugated boxes for production and packaging operations. Support packaging lines by supplying materials in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain GMP standards and follow safety, quality, and food safety procedures. Assist with packaging, production support, and facility cleaning duties as needed. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred for this manufacturing and production role. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting. Basic math and counting skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Dependable, detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and able to perform repetitive tasks consistently. Willingness to comply with required PPE, hygiene, and dress code standards. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience. Experience in food production, ingredient manufacturing, or a similar production environment. Familiarity with GMP standards, quality checks, and packaging line support.
