About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing leadership and support for all credit department operations, with a primary focus on overseeing the bank's loan risk management process to ensure quality control and minimize losses. This role requires the maintenance of loan policy and procedures in compliance with underwriting best practices, laws, and regulations, as well as staying abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices. The Chief Credit Officer will also be responsible for developing and overseeing the bank's internal credit training program, managing the credit team, and ensuring that the team is appropriately staffed and trained. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of ten years' of related work experience, including a strong background in financial and credit analysis, lending, and management. Heavy experience with C&I lending is essential, and experience in loan workouts and SBA is preferred. The role demands the ability to create and analyze credit presentations, business correspondence, and loan policies, as well as the capacity to interpret and ensure compliance with a range of financial and regulatory documents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of influencing their own development within a dynamic and challenging environment.
