Job Description

Our client is seeking a dependable Chef to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and production standards in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. This position supports daily food production, assists with menu preparation, and helps ensure efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, follows recipes accurately, and takes pride in producing quality food with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food by following standardized recipes, production sheets, and food safety guidelines. 
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen while following HACCP sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices. 
• Assist with meal preparation, catering events, inventory rotation, and advance food prep. 
• Complete production records, report equipment issues, and assist with training new team members. 
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to support efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• ServSafe Certification preferred. 
• Knowledge of food service terminology, cooking techniques, measurements, and culinary math. 
• Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and lift up to 50 pounds .

The base salary range for this position is $13.50-$14.90, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
