Supervisor, Accounts Payable The Supervisor, Accounts Payable manages the end-to-end payment and accounts payable process for Horizon Media's affiliate companies. The role is responsible for the day-to-day AP function for our growing portfolio of affiliate companies, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time and maintaining vendor relationships. Responsibilities will include: Payment Execution & Management: Responsible for the day-to-day operation and workflow of the Accounts Payable function for affiliate companies. Ensure the timely and accurate execution of weekly payment batches, with a focus on transitioning vendors to ACH. Review submitted invoices for accuracy and confirmation prior to posting Troubleshoot and resolve complex payment issues, such as vendor data discrepancies, rejected payments, and compliance flags. Vendor Relations & Support: Serve as the primary escalation point for all vendor payment inquiries from affiliate companies. Manage the affiliate AP inquiry mailbox to ensure timely responses and issue resolution. Build and maintain positive relationships with key affiliate vendors by providing responsive and professional support. Work proactively with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and communicate payment status. Other: Identify and assist in implementing continuous improvements to the affiliate accounts payable process. Administer and maintain the integrity of the accounts payable system for assigned affiliates Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis of affiliate expenditures as needed. Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment. At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment execution. Hands‑on experience with major ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team. Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of resolving complex payment and vendor issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service oriented approach to working with both internal teams and external vendors. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Horizon Media is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
