About the Role

The Customer Lending Representative (CLR) is an entry-level opportunity designed for motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career in the mortgage industry. Through hands-on training, one-on-one mentorship from experienced Mortgage Loan Officers, and a clearly defined career path, you'll develop the skills and knowledge needed to grow into a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys helping people, has strong customer service skills, and is willing to work hard to build a successful career. No mortgage experience is required-we invest in training the right people. As a CLR, you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients throughout the beginning stages of the loan process while gaining valuable industry experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to connect with prospective borrowers
• Follow a structured call script to understand borrower goals and determine eligibility
• Ask qualifying questions to identify high-intent prospects for mortgage purchase or refinance needs
• Build rapport with potential borrowers to establish trust and professionalism
• Schedule appointments and transfer qualified prospects to licensed Loan Officers in real time
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely notes within CRM systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Familiarity with loan processing software is a plus but not required
