This individual provides oversight of student academic and career technical training programs and ensures student progress, achievement and completion of the Job Corps program. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.EMPLOYMENT AT EXETER JOB CORPSEmployment at Exeter Job Corps is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check and motor vehicle record check.Here is the schedule for this role:Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmEnsures high quality academic and career technical training programming and instructionEnsures that area of oversight is organized, clean, safe and conducive to student learningEffectively motivates, empowers and requires staff to perform his/her job responsibilitiesHolds staff accountable for producing quality work, develops staff for career progression and disciplines staff that fail to meet goalsFills staff vacancies in a timely manner. Interviews, recommends for hire, disciplines, recommends for termination and evaluates the performance of the employees in the Academic and Career Technical Training DepartmentDevelops Center-beneficial linkages within the community for education, employment, Career Technical Training and work based learningProvides high-quality supervision and management for the student populationTakes swift and appropriate action and positively influences student behaviorShows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behaviorQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelors degree from an accredited school required, Masters degree from an accredited school preferredMinimum of two years experience in teaching or related field requiredValid RI teaching certificate preferredJob Corps or related program experience preferred“Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
