Patient ratio experience of 1:1 with active labors, 1:3 with postpartum couples
Experience with Epic charting system


Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
The position may require floating between units as needed.
On-call shifts may be required if the census is low.
Weekends are required every other weekend.
The expected patient ratios will align with industry staffing standards.
Candidates should have experience in LDRP with postpartum care.
The facility is a short-term acute care facility with a focus on maternity care.
Daily census includes 1-2 active labors and 5-8 postpartum patients.
The unit has a total of 14 beds and follows AWHONN staffing standards.
Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as IV teams, therapy, and pharmacy.
The unit admits low-risk patients and specific high-risk cases as needed.
Special procedures are performed on-site, and the unit is equipped with necessary tools for patient care.
Candidates must possess the ability to work various shifts and cover holidays.
A vehicle is required for commuting to the assignment.
