Position Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and other administrative accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Enter invoices, expense reports, and financial transactions into the accounting system Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Process customer payments and assist with collections activities Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting documentation Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized accounting files and records Support the accounting team with special projects and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred 1 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with accounting software is a plus Preferred Skills Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills High level of professionalism and confidentiality Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Career growth and development opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional or someone looking to grow their career within a supportive and collaborative accounting team.
