General Responsibilities of an HR Manager: Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee records. Support onboarding and offboarding processes. Coordinate payroll administration and employee data management. Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers. Handle employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns. Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding initiatives. Review and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation. Support performance management, coaching, and employee development. Partner with leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness and workplace culture. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recommend practical solutions that support company growth. Ideal Background for an HR Manager: 5+ years of progressive HR experience preferred; candidates with 3-5 years of strong HR experience will also be considered. Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate workplace policies and HR information effectively. Experience with payroll administration and HR systems. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or operational environments is preferred. Comfortable working in a small-business environment where wearing multiple hats Strong Excel skills including data entry, sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and reporting. HR certifications or relevant HR education are a plus.
