This position is responsible for estimating repairs, managing project timelines, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality project completion while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong construction knowledge, estimating experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct property inspections and develop detailed reconstruction estimates Create scopes of work for residential and commercial reconstruction projects Prepare and manage estimates using Xactimate and related software Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and internal crews Manage reconstruction projects from start to completionMonitor budgets, schedules, and project quality standards Communicate regularly with customers, insurance adjusters, and office staff Ensure projects comply with local building codes and company standards Perform jobsite inspections and quality control checks Manage change orders, supplements, and project documentation Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Maintain accurate records, photos, and project files Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; construction-related education preferred Minimum 3–5 years of construction estimating or project management experience Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices Experience with insurance restoration preferred Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software strongly preferred Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and mobile documentation tools Preferred Certifications Xactimate Level 1 or Level 2 Certification IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT preferred) OSHA Safety Certification General construction or contractor licensing experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to inspect active construction and mitigation job sites Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to climb ladders, walk uneven surfaces, and work in varying environmental conditions Local travel between project sites required All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO Franchise.
