Specialty Representative, GI Care - Chattanooga, TN

Field-based specialty sales representative role focused on gastrointestinal care in the Chattanooga, Tennessee region. The position requires executing brand strategy, managing territory accounts, and driving sales performance while building customer relationships aligned with patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and sales tactics to meet financial targets, KPIs, and marketing objectives in assigned territory
• Develop pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to improve sales performance and close deals
• Build trusted customer relationships by identifying needs, developing disease state experts, and maintaining key accounts
• Develop call plans optimizing frequency and coverage to key customers while gathering and sharing market intelligence with internal teams
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition and identify advocates to maximize brand performance with assigned health providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or five years equivalent industry experience with three years in pharmaceutical/health sector
• High school diploma or GED minimum; valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening
• Proven sales success with strong presentation skills and ability to adapt selling approach to customer styles
• In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge with strategic thinking capabilities
• Leadership experience with documented success in increasing responsibility roles
• HCIR credentialing eligibility including background checks, immunization records, and state-specific requirements
• Ability to travel adequately and attend overnight training events; proficiency with business tools and matrix operations
