Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Sunny Square, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer interactions, support, and collective learning among clients.

• Offering personalized individual therapy, helping clients navigate their thoughts and feelings while developing tailored coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients on creating goal-oriented treatment plans that are specific to their individual needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring client progress through assessments and feedback, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Engaging closely with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to provide the best support network for our clients.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices and methodologies that enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with young adults who may be facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress management. This demographic requires a specialized approach, as they are transitioning into adulthood and often navigate significant life changes. Your role will be crucial in helping these clients develop the resilience and skills needed to thrive.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, the following qualifications are required:

• A master’s degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in mental health treatment, particularly with young adults, is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
