This is a permanent, full-time position with all shifts available. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our industrial equipment and machinery. This role is critical to our operations, and we are looking for someone who can ensure our equipment is always running at peak performance. Responsibilities: Perform regular inspections of our industrial equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Maintain and repair a variety of equipment including electrical controls, PLC, Slitter, Pickler, Galvanizing, Fabrication, Combustion, Furnace, Boiler, and Overhead Crane. Work with chemicals and handle galvanized steel, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. Operate and maintain melting and mill burners. Conduct regular electrical repairs and installations, ensuring all work is compliant with electrical code. Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the team. Participate in problem-solving initiatives, using critical thinking and technical skills to find solutions. Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Work as part of a team, demonstrating strong teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills. Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with the equipment and systems listed above. Solid understanding of ladder logic controls and PLC. Experience in operating and maintaining a slitter, pickler, and overhead crane. Strong knowledge of working with galvanized steel and galvanizing processes. Proficiency in fabrication, combustion, furnace, and boiler operations. Familiarity with handling chemicals in a safe and compliant manner. Experience with melting and mill burners. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on electrical safety and electrical repair. Proven experience in electrical systems installation and electrical equipment inspection. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent time management and decision-making abilities. Strong critical thinking, technical, mechanical, and mathematical skills.
