Location: San Marcos, CA (Hybrid 1 day onsite per week)

Type: Contract (6 9 Months) with possible extension

Pay Rate: $28 $32/hr (W2)

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounting team in processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate will have prior Accounts Payable experience along with hands-on experience using Workday and Lawson systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently

• Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips

• Ensure timely vendor payments and resolve invoice discrepancies

• Maintain Accounts Payable records and supporting documentation

• Utilize Workday and Lawson systems for AP processing and tracking

• Operate standard office equipment and use Microsoft Office applications effectively

• Follow company policies, accounting procedures, and compliance standards

• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments

• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting experience

• Hands-on experience with Workday (Required)

• Hands-on experience with Lawson (Required)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 3 years of Accounts Payable experience

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience

• Secondary education in Business, Accounting, or related field
