We infuse a commitment to civic engagement, equality, and communal action into each of our programs, which include early childhood education, youth development, healthy aging, mental health and wellness, English classes for adult immigrants, community centers, and the arts.The Consultation Center is University Settlement’s Article 31 outpatient mental health clinic that has served children, adolescents, adults, and families for over 65-years.Responsibilities:Provide individual, group, and family therapy including behavior modification, cognitive behavioral, in-sight oriented and supportive therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population, ranging in age from 5 years through late adulthoodConduct pre-admission screenings/intake assessmentsImplement case management treatment plansProvide therapy and assessments in office and using TeleHealthMaintain reports, administrative and clinical records in accordance with OMH/DOH&MH standards insure requirements and program policiesResponsible for meeting set productivity benchmarksFacilitate intra/inter agency referrals, as necessaryAdvocate for patients with other community-based organizations and governmental agencies, as indicatedConduct offsite visits as stated by the State Office of Mental HealthParticipate in staff meetings, case conferences, training seminars and individual supervisory meetingsLearn and utilize computerized treatment and billing programsDemonstrated ability to engage new and challenging casesFunction as a member of an interdisciplinary teamOther duties deemed necessary by the Clinical Director pertaining to provision of effective services to patients and/or the communityQualifications:MSW requiredLMSW or LCSW certification requiredTwo years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with time limited treatment approachesExperience with treating children preferredBilingual skills in English/Mandarin/Cantonese or English/Spanish preferredWork Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible schedule - Late afternoon/even hours, 10 hours per week, HybridWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.
