Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol HOA Community in Ladera Ranch, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift Job Schedule DayTimeTue03:30 PM - 12:00 AMWed03:30 PM - 12:00 AMThur03:30 PM - 12:00 AMFri03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Sat03:30 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and community activity, assisting with access control practices, visitor interactions, and reports of rule or policy concerns. Support Allied Universal and property management expectations by reporting maintenance‑related observations, potential hazards, and/or suspicious activity in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must be 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
