What You Bring To The Table Associate’s degree in Recreational Therapy (Preferred) Passion for working with seniors Job Duties And Responsibilities Presents a program of activities to meet the needs and interests of each resident. Meets weekly or as scheduled with Life Enrichment Department staff to coordinate accountabilities of the department. Provides activities as scheduled on the Activities Calendar. Creates an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation through Special Events programming. Provides “Active Listening” for Residents/Families directed at problem identification & solution; provides behavior/adjustment interventions as indicated. Informs, invites and escorts residents as necessary to groups of their choice. Has materials and preparation done prior to groups so that group is started on time according to posted schedule.
