Job DescriptionSales Messaging Director - Sales Messaging IntelligencePosition Summary:The Sales Messaging Director serves as the strategic owner of the GTM narrative across HRO, SBS, RS, and INS. This role partners with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales Operations, and AI teams to create evidence-based sales messaging that drives pipeline, seller effectiveness, and revenue growth. The role directly manages the Messaging Insights Analyst, and supports the Down Market. Why This Role Exists:Ensure each market segment has a clear, differentiated, evidence-based GTM narrative that sellers and AI tools consistently execute to create pipeline.What They Own:Sales messaging based on BU prioritiesSeller deliverables including gaining access content, presentations and talk tracksAlignment with Marketing and Product MarketingHow sellers use AI to drive messagingIncorporation of vertical, persona, product and competitor insightsHow They Operate:Primary partner to BU Sales LeadershipLead quarterly BU Messaging Performance Reviews with Sales OpsPartner with Insights Analyst to convert insights into decisions and actionsPeople leader for the Insights AnalystPartner with AI Specialists to ensure AI reflects the segment narrativeSuccess Measures:Pipeline and conversion liftSeller adoption of deliverablesBU leader confidence and alignmentPerformance and development of the Insights AnalystKey Responsibilities:Own Down Market GTM messaging strategyDevelop messaging architecture and value propositionsCreate talk tracks, presentations, objection handling and sales playsAlign sales messaging with business priorities and campaignsTranslate market insights into actionable messagingDrive AI messaging alignment and seller adoptionLead cross-functional stakeholder alignment10-15% travel requiredRequired Qualifications:A college degree is nice to have but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job.
