Husk is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientated Prep Cook to join our culinary team!
About Us: Located in the heart of downtown Music City, Husk celebrates the rich history and evolution of Southern cuisine. Our ingredient-driven menu begins with the rediscovery of heirloom products and local traditions, redefining what it means to cook—and eat—in Nashville.
Who We're Looking For:
You are passionate, professional, and committed to teamwork—someone who thrives in a high-performing kitchen and brings energy to every service. This is an opportunity to work in a chef-driven kitchen committed to quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and basic components according to recipes and prep lists
- Wash, chop, portion, label, and store food items following safety standards
- Assist line cooks and chefs in preparing for service
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station and kitchen environment
- Support daily cleaning and closing procedures
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety procedures consistently
What You'll Bring:
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen
- Reliable, focused, and eager to learn
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
