Sous Chef - Full Time
FTK Hospitality Philadelphia | Philadelphia, PA

Join our award-winning upscale steakhouse and event space as a Sous Chef. We offer a dynamic environment with high check averages and a discerning clientele. As we prepare for growth this season, we are looking for a talented culinary professional with exceptional grilling and broiler experience to enhance our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality.
Prepare and cook menu items, specializing in grilling and broiling techniques for steaks and seafood.
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create an efficient and positive work environment.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas to enhance our offerings.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development and teamwork.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant culinary role in a high-end steakhouse or seafood restaurant.
Strong grilling and broiling skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate the kitchen team.
Availability to work 5 days a week, including evenings and weekends.

Schedule

Full-time position, working 5 days a week with flexible hours to meet the needs of the restaurant.
