In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff and ensuring the seamless execution of private and on-site banquet events. Reporting to the Banquet Manager and Property GM, the Banquet Supervisor plays a critical role in upholding service excellence, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and support banquet servers, bartenders, and other staff during setup, service, and breakdown of events. Serve as the main point of contact for event hosts and ensure all banquet specifications and service standards are met. Ensure consistent execution of event details in accordance with BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and management direction. Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure food & beverage timing, accuracy, and presentation. Maintain a polished, professional presence in all guest-facing interactions and during team leadership. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event; resolve issues with professionalism and urgency. Oversee proper care, setup, and breakdown of all banquet equipment, serviceware, and table settings. Support Banquet Management in monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organizational standards throughout banquet spaces. Collaborate with management on training new team members and reinforcing performance expectations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines per MA Department of Public Health and OSHA. Minimum Qualifications: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age. Prior restaurant or banquet service experience isrequired. Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders and communicate expectations clearly to the team. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. POS system knowledge and cash handling experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs. Standing and walking for extended periods (6+ hours). Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in variable weather conditions. Occasional stair climbing and moving banquet furniture/equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
