Community Associate

Community Associate Location: 39899 Balentine Drive Suite 200 94560 Newark, California, United States of America Overview As a Community Associate you will work closely with new and existing customers across a range of industries, creating and maintaining a welcoming community within your center. Your role focuses on the administrative and support needs so customers can concentrate on running their business. Typical Day Arrive a few minutes before the center opens to ensure everything is ready. Throughout the day you will greet customers, change Wi‑Fi codes, track packages, direct people to meeting rooms, set up projectors, handle printing, process invoices, and open service tickets. You also manage light administrative tasks such as invoicing accuracy, handling mail, and coordinating with the Community Manager to plan networking events and community outreach. Responsibilities Prepare the center for opening and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Assist customers with technical and logistical needs (Wi‑Fi, printing, equipment setup). Track and communicate package deliveries and other service requests. Ensure accurate billing and service charges. Schedule and coordinate community events, including e‑invites, posters, and on‑site assistance. Provide local recommendations for dining and other amenities. Support the Community Manager in organizing weekly networking events and maintaining center operations. Qualifications A good communicator who builds strong professional relationships and empathizes with customer needs (ideally 1+ year of customer service experience). Ownership mindset – able to identify problems and find effective solutions. Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable in fast‑changing situations. Experience and confidence using MS Office and basic IT equipment. Legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old.
