Lead nursing services and personnel with a focus on telemetry care in a full-time capacity. This role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring high standards of clinical judgment, and fostering a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to patient care. You will play a key role in stabilizing critical patients alongside a dedicated healthcare team, demonstrating expertise in clinical decision-making and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance performance and patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in department meetings and committees, contributing to policy and procedure development.
• Identify and address patient and family concerns, including legal and ethical issues, through regular rounding.
• Manage patient flow, develop specialized care plans, and support discharge planning in collaboration with medical staff.
• Promote team-building activities and a positive, accountable work environment.
• Monitor unit risk events and ensure compliance with quality and accreditation standards.
• Assist with budgeting and resource management as needed.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, obtained within 30 days of hire or by orientation end.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to apply nursing principles effectively.

Physical Requirements

Medium work involving occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking (26-50% of the day). Accommodations may be provided as needed.
