Since 1968, family-owned ABW Appliances has grown into one of the Baltimore-Washington region's leading premium appliance companies six locations, a 51,000+ sq ft warehouse, and professional delivery and installation. We serve homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and trade professionals with an "Appliances A Better Way" standard.

ABW is seeking an experienced, hands-on Showroom Sales Manager to lead our North Bethesda location. This is a true leadership role not a title layered on top of individual selling. You'll own the showroom's sales performance, profitability, team development, and client experience, while partnering closely with Purchasing, Delivery, Installation, and Marketing to make sure sold business actually moves through the organization.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $75,000+, based on experience
• Meaningful performance incentive tied to showroom and company results (sales, profitability, growth, execution, client experience)
• Manufacturer SPIFF opportunities where applicable

What You'll Do

• Lead the team: Set clear expectations, coach through regular 1:1s, address performance issues early, and help associates strengthen prospecting, product knowledge, and closing skills.
• Own the business: Manage the showroom's sales and profitability goals; track pipeline, gross profit, and productivity; report to and partner with the Director of Showroom Sales.
• Drive growth: Build a culture of proactive prospecting with designers, builders, remodelers, and trade partners not just walk-in traffic.
• Elevate the client experience: Set the standard for responsiveness and follow-through; step in on complex escalations.
• Ensure operational execution: Monitor open/aging orders, enforce documentation standards, and partner across departments to close gaps.
• Maintain brand standards: Keep the showroom current, clean, and reflective of the premium brands we carry.
• Lead events: Plan and execute trade and consumer events with clear goals and follow-up, in partnership with Marketing.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of successful sales experience in a consultative, relationship-driven environment
• Proven experience leading, coaching, or developing a sales team
• Strong business acumen comfortable with sales, gross profit, pipeline, and forecasting data
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to have direct, professional conversations
• Availability for a retail schedule, including weekend coverage (Mon - Sat, 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.)

Preferred

• Premium/luxury appliance, kitchen & bath, or high-consideration product experience
• Experience managing a multimillion-dollar sales operation
• CRM/pipeline management and sales-performance reporting experience
