About the company:

We’re partnered with a highly respected structural engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. market looking to add a Structural Engineer to its growing team.

This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop strong technical building design experience, work alongside experienced engineers, and progress toward greater project responsibility and PE licensure.

What you'll be doing:

Performing structural analysis and design across a variety of building projects
Preparing calculations, drawings, and construction documents
Supporting design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
Developing drawings and models using Revit
Reviewing contractor submittals and supporting construction administration
Coordinating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
Taking on increasing technical and project responsibility as you develop

What we're looking for:

0–5 years of structural engineering experience
EIT certification required or ability to obtain shortly after joining
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
PE progression encouraged as your career develops
Building design experience through professional work, internships, or academic projects welcomed
Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
Familiarity with RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP, Enercalc, or similar software is a plus
Strong communication and collaborative skills
