Medical Technician

Job DutiesMaintain applicant's medical records during the examination process.Manage medical consultations to include verifying doctor's orders.In-process applicants, verify identity using previously captured biometrics (digital fingerprints and photographs).Assist applicants on completion of a variety of forms required for physical examination.Perform phlebotomy procedures to obtain blood samples.Review unique medical forms for proper format, coding and completion.Maintain control logs, custody logs and rosters, and treatment center referral list in accordance with regulations and policies.Monitor and maintain stock level of medical supplies and restock as necessary.Ensure safety requirements are met for the proper use, storage, and disposal of needles and medical equipment.Conduct standardized medical orientation briefings to applicants.Prepare packages and ship specimens to testing laboratory.
