INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance and repair on heavy industrial equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions, and ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely. This role also monitors equipment performance, conducts routine inspections, maintains tools and parts inventory, and documents maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Experience performing machinery repair, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a manufacturing or forging environment
- 24 vdc – 480vac 3-phase electrical system experience, including diagnosing and fixing electrical components, wiring and circuitry
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics relevant to mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with other team members to minimize downtime and maximize operational performance.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Experience with tools and equipment, including familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical training certification is a plus
- Experience with PLC systems (i.e., Allen Bradley or Siemens step 7) controls is a plus
Experience with refractory and ceramic fiber modules is a plus.
