REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - MEDICAL SURGICAL (MED/SURG) | PER DIEM OPPORTUNITY JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) for a per diem opportunity in an acute care setting. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift: Night Shift
• Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• 12-Hour Shift

PAY RATE

• $40.53-$47.29 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and nursing best practices
• Promote patient comfort, safety, and positive clinical outcomes
