Requirements: Summary Wavepoint is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to support the cleanliness and safety of our facility in North Tonawanda, New York. This role is essential to maintaining a professional, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
- Replenish the restroom and cleaning supplies
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to management
- Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Perform other related janitorial duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be proficient in basic math.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks throughout the shift
