Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Stepdown Critical Care unit between intensive care and progressive care levels.
• Float to various units as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to changing staffing needs.
• Maintain all necessary certifications including BLS and ACLS, with preference for CCRN and NIHSS certification.
• Collaborate with Critical Care Intensivist and nursing staff to provide extraordinary care to patients and family members.
• Administer and manage necessary drips and medications in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Utilize EPIC charting system to document patient care accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from Nebraska or pending state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital, ideally with ICU or critical care exposure.
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Ability to float to Bellevue campus and other designated units such as 4CS, 5 West, and 6 Neuro.
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical and religious exemptions only.
• NICOTINE FREE compliance is mandatory.
