Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide professional cardiac care nursing services to patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and practices. Support patient education and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and interpret diagnostic data related to cardiac health.
• Administer medications and treatments specific to cardiac care under physician orders.
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures and patient examinations involving cardiac interventions.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations, providing lifesaving interventions when necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records and utilize appropriate medical terminology.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Hold an active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Meet American Heart Association BLS standards and maintain certification biennially.
• Possess at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or critical care settings.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to clearly follow and convey clinical instructions.
• Exhibit the ability to analyze problems quickly and prioritize care effectively.
