Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Newton, Kansas location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Accurately enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and payments
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• One or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service track record
