About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in telemetry nursing. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS preferred. Must-Have: - Proficiency in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration. - Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. - Ability to provide care for patients with various cardiac conditions including CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, and sepsis. - Ability to manage complex patient care, including post-cardiac procedures. - Skills in patient assessments and use of telemetry systems. Description: Looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit. The unit specializes in caring for adults and geriatric patients. Patient diagnoses include congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, and dysrhythmias. The nurse will manage a caseload of 4 to 5 patients. Key responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and providing interventions as necessary. Candidates will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Flexibility to float within the facility is required. The position requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills. All compliance documents must be completed prior to starting. Candidates are expected to work major holidays and rotating weekends as assigned. Local candidates are welcomed and will receive the same considerations.
