We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive HousekeeperJOB SUMMARYMaintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public spaces throughout the hotel. Ensure lobby, restrooms, corridors, meeting spaces, entrances, and other guest-facing areas are clean, well-stocked, and always welcoming.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONSClean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, entrances, and other guest facing areas in accordance with hotel standardsVacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, and sanitize public spaces to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and associatesMonitor and restock public area supplies, including restroom amenities, paper products, and cleaning suppliesRemove trash and debris from public areas and dispose of them properlyInspect public areas regularly and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to the appropriate departmentRespond promptly to guest requests and assist with special cleaning needs as assignedOperate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all equipment is maintained in proper working conditionKeep storage closets, housekeeping carts, and work areas clean, organized and properly stockedPhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements may include but not be limited to:Standing/Walking: Frequently. Standing up to 8 hours a day while cleaning public areas.Crouching (Bend at knees) : Frequently. While cleaning public areas.Stooping (Bend at waist) : Frequently. While cleaning public areas, picking up trash.Twisting (Knees/waist/Neck): Frequently. Loading and unloading linen.Climbing Ladders: Occasionally. Climbing to the top shelves in linen rooms.Reaching (Overhead/extension): Frequently. Linen shelvesHandling/Grasping : Frequently.
