Pelvic Health - Physical Therapist

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Salida, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Location: Salida, Colorado

Schedule: 5:00AM - 1:30PM x 5

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $62 - $67/hr

Responsibilities for a PT:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities

Determine diagnosis, prognosis, and necessary intervention strategies based on patient assessments

Design and modify therapeutic plans to alleviate impairments and functional limitations

Help patients regain their ability to perform daily activities through targeted therapeutic interventions

Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities by promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups

Engage in sharing knowledge with colleagues and the community

Contribute to the latest research in physical therapy practices

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries

Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered

Maintain a minimum of 4 years of experience in Pelvic Health

Hold a Pelvic Health Certification

Maintain current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination

Maintain current CPR Certification

Be a member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy

Work in an Outpatient Clinic setting
