Associate Data Partnerships Manager

Role Overview

Drive partnerships that bring valuable operational data into AI training and evaluation initiatives. In this remote, full-time role, you will build relationships with company leaders, guide data-focused discussions, negotiate agreements, and support partner onboarding after close.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify companies with operational data that can support AI training and evaluation.
• Prospect and engage founders, executives, and business owners through outbound outreach.
• Schedule and lead discovery calls with prospective partners.
• Explain potential AI training and evaluation uses for partner data.
• Address questions concerning privacy, security, data ownership, and anonymization.
• Negotiate partnership terms and close agreements.
• Own the partnership pipeline from initial outreach through signed agreement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new partners after agreements are finalized.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, prospecting, closing, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort engaging founders, executives, and business owners.
• Ability to lead discovery conversations and communicate value clearly.
• Confidence building new relationships through outbound outreach and developing a pipeline.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Resourceful, proactive approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
• Motivation to close deals and succeed in a performance-based compensation structure.
• Preferred, 2 or more years of experience in business development, partnerships, B2B sales, or a similar role.
• Proven experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing B2B deals.
• Experience in outbound prospecting, pipeline development, AI, data, SaaS, or technology partnerships is preferred.

Work Terms

• Remote, full-time position.

Compensation

• Hourly compensation is listed as $40 to $60 per hour, with another stated range of $50 to $70 per hour.
• Approximately $2, 000 per deal closed.
• The role indicates that closing 5 to 10 deals per month is achievable.
