This Project Manager position focuses on leading customer-facing projects within a growing, modern organization. You will manage the full project lifecycle, act as the primary point of contact for customers, and collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role combines project management, business development, and consultative sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend value-driven solutions, and support ongoing growth in a dynamic, state-of-the-art environment.

• Research, identify, and contact prospective clients to promote professional products, services, and solutions.
• Engage with potential customers to uncover business needs, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities to deliver value.
• Deliver professional presentations at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the organization and its offerings.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to refine business development strategies and improve results.
• Support additional sales and business development initiatives as assigned by leadership.
• Serve as a customer-facing Project Manager and act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project coordination activities, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across internal teams.
• Work closely with engineering teams to move projects efficiently through design, review, and production stages.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Handle customer calls and communications in a timely and professional manner, addressing questions, issues, and change requests.
• Apply a mechanical and project engineering mindset to support estimation, planning, and technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support estimation activities by contributing to project scope, timelines, and resource assessments.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging solutions relevant to customers and projects.
• Participate in professional development activities, industry associations, educational programs, and review relevant publications to continually enhance knowledge and skills.
• Adopt a consultative approach to understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that create meaningful value.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse audiences.

• Experience with project engineering and estimation activities.

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, product sales, or production environments is preferred.
• Background in project coordination within mechanical or industrial settings is advantageous.
• Experience working with production or manufacturing teams to deliver customer projects is beneficial.
• Consultative approach to sales and customer engagement, with a natural curiosity about customer operations and challenges.
• Interest in continuous learning and professional development through industry associations, educational programs, and relevant publications.
• Ability to interpret market trends and customer needs to refine business development strategies.

The role is based in a brand new, state-of-the-art office environment within a growing business. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams, engaging in regular communication with customers via calls and meetings. The setting supports professional presentations, collaborative project work, and ongoing learning. The environment emphasizes modern facilities, growth opportunities, and a professional atmosphere appropriate for customer-facing work and industry events.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
