Bridge Project Manager

Role Overview As part of HDR's Transportation Business Group, the Bridge Project Manager will lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. Responsibilities Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects. Coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development. Establish client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance. Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff. Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule. Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort to keep projects within agreed schedule. Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications A license/certification. PMP certification. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. 7 years related experience. A minimum of 2 years project management experience. Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, with excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
