As the Outdoor Associate must deliver an elevated customer service experience that will build meaningful relationships with athletes within the great outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, etc.. Additional responsibilities will also include driving results, ensuring company standards, and assisting with storewide operations as needed.Customer Service & SalesResponsible for driving the highest level of customer service within our Outdoor department while engaging in behaviors that are in-line with company's service and selling standardsBring to life the power of opinion. Making sure the explorer experience includes product experts who provide consultative advice while demonstrating excellent product knowledgeUphold standards for merchandise presentation, showcasing the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, replenishment and recovery processes, in-stock, etc.Guide and educate athletes through their purchase by communicating information on use and maintenance of their equipment and accessoriesOperationsHelp communicate information to teammates regarding company initiatives, programs, promotions, etc.Maintaining company loss prevention standardsQualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent1-3 years experience; prior retail experience preferredTargeted pay range: $16.00 - $23.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
