Payroll Specialist

Randstad has partnered with a global leader in the gaming and lottery technology industry to identify a skilled US Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic HR Operations team. salary: $35 - $40 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Payroll & Tax Management: Execute weekly payroll, month-end close, and quarter/year-end support. Oversee payroll tax filings, payments, calculation updates, and tax amendments.

• Compliance & Research: Maintain strict accuracy, research complex regulatory requirements, resolve payroll issues, and audit historical data to process accurate adjustments.

• Systems & Projects: Utilize automated time and attendance systems. Lead complex projects including initial company setup, system troubleshooting, and detailed reporting and analysis.

• Vendor & HR Collaboration: Build cross-functional partnerships with external vendors, leadership, colleagues, and the broader HR team within a matrix environment.

• Technical Skills: Experience in payroll tax filings, automated HRIS/timekeeping tools, and complex data reconciliation.

• Communication & Tact: Superior verbal and written communication skills, acting with high diplomacy and urgency.

• Organization & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

• Integrity: Non-negotiable commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive payroll and employee data.
