Job Description
- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies that support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are on the right path to recovery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and financially supported.
- Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
- Strong passion for helping others achieve their highest potential and independence.
- Effective, empathetic communication skills for interaction with patients and colleagues alike.
