Duties
Under general supervision, independently performs various student related technical duties related to receiving and processing student information into the student information system, district intranet and student assessment verification.
- Responsible to the Building Principal and will work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator.
- Enter data into various systems in order to maintain proper and accurate records.
- Maintain discretion when working with teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents
- Foster a positive learning environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High Diploma or equivalent (GED), or Associate’s Degree preferred
- Have adequate technology skills to effectively navigate the district’s Student Information System (PowerSchool)
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, principals/administrators and other teachers orally and in writing
- Experience working with students who have experienced educational disengagement
- Able to work effectively and have a good understanding of the interests and needs of the districts’ most at risk students
- Experience in working collaboratively in schools and instructional programs
- Ability to work in a fast-past diverse educational setting
- Computer literacy required
- Exhibit organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Bi-lingual preferred.
